Handyman Dan

Dan decided to make a coffee table. He is amazing. He started last Saturday and yesterday he finished (minus staining it). Since he won't have time to stain it until next weekend, he brought it in so we could enjoy it in the meantime. I think it's awesome!

Dan you'r kinda awesome. I've been thinking about projects like this. Lemme ask a few idiotic questions (since I know very little about woodworking. ) Biscut joints and glue? Screws? Nails? Bolts? Do you own a table saw? Are you arms tired? ETC.

I think I see nail holes filled with that putty business? yeah?

Ryan,

No biscuit joints. Just nails, screws, and glue. To build this table, I used a miter saw (one could use a table saw or even just a circular saw, if you used some sort of guide fence) and a drill. I wish I had a nail gun, but I don't. My arms aren't tired, but my legs are from all the kneeling and squatting. And yes, there are nails and screws covered with wood filler.

You could totally build this table. It cost about $40 for the wood and screws.
