This morning Dan and I dropped Sam off at friend's and headed to the hospital. They monitored the baby and me for an hour. They also gave me some loopy drugs. The doctor came in and pushed and rolled my belly and it hurt really bad. I cried a little. I never really found my happy place (although I appreciate your suggestions). I just breathed loudly and squeezed Dan's and the nurse's hands. 3 minutes later, she was head down! And she'd better stay that way if she knows what's best for her!
They monitored us again for an hour and then we got to leave and I got a milkshake to celebrate.
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers! We really appreciate it.

YAY!! I'm so glad that worked!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I can't wait to see pics of your little girl!
milkshakes are good. baby turns are good. Feet down is good. Kristen crying is not so good. news ends up good and that is good.
Oh that sounds awful but I'm SO happy it worked and the girlie turned!
Such great news and a real blessing.
Man, it must be great to be a doctor. You just come in, put your latex gloves on, shove some crying woman in the gut, and join your colleagues at the golf club in time for a 4 o'clock tee time.
