Jamaica Me Crazy

Last week we went to Jamaica, just the two of us. Kristen's mom came to watch our kids. This post may be wordy and/or photoful.

We flew down on Monday. There were tons of honeymooners on the plane, identifiable by the girls' french-tipped nails, dyed hair, and pre-vacation tans. Or by their matching Detroit Tigers' jerseys. That couple was weird.

We stayed at Sandals Whitehouse. After flying into Montego Bay, we took a bumpy, windy 1.5 hour bus ride to the resort.

While there, we ate a lot. I gained 5 pounds, and somehow Kristen lost weight. We swam in the ocean, sat on the beach, snorkeled, sailed, read books, paddle board-ed, kayak-ed, scuba-ed, and were rescued from a broke-down glass bottom boat. We went on an excursion to a waterfall where we ziplined, and a "lifeguard" led us up the falls and took lots of pictures of my pasty body and my high-top scuba boots. We listened to a ton of reggae music. I liked it, and Kristen eventually didn't. Kristen took a garden tour and learned enough about the uses of the flora to have her own survival show on the Discovery Channel. Kristen enjoyed going to the waterfalls and paddle boarding. I enjoyed sailing and scuba-ing. We both enjoyed spending time together. And Kristen threw up majorly on the bus ride home. I held her hair and the leaky trash can she barfed in.
